A group of 5
multi-party political leaders participated in the delegation visit to Israel
from December 20 – 25, 2015. The visit was co-sponsored by GPPI-CPR and the
Israel Foreign Office. During the compact 5 working days, the delegation had
academic discussions at the Tel Aviv University on pre-arranged topics
including India-Israel bilateral economic relationship, cooperation in agriculture
& water management including drip-irrigation, anti-terrorism and cyber
security issues. The program also included meetings with senior Israeli
government officials and Members of the Knesset (Parliament) and onsite visits
relating to agriculture; drip irrigation and water management projects.
